Cherokee County Meals On Wheels provides meals, services and personal contact to those who cannot provide for themselves. Those who live alone, are unable to shop or to prepare meals, are primarily homebound, have no family member or responsible person to prepare their meals regularly need and receive our services at no cost to themselves. We have served our rural county since May of 1984, starting with only 20 meals a day in 1984 to surpassing 100,000 meals a year in2019. As the only rural meal delivery option within our county, we are an integral part of the community. Without our services, many in our county who are elderly, disabled, or homebound would go without hot nutritious meals.
